17 more hours before I play another quest level.
I'll use that up trying to get my previous levels to 3 stars. Except level 65. I may never play level 65 again.

Day 3 (actually 2 1/2) of level 67.
What are the quest levels?
Maybe I have not been paying alot of attention to the bombs seeing that I have just keep hitting them & when they go away ...they go away.
Anyone wishing to friend me on the book of faces message me please.

Quests are only available to non-Book of Faces players. You repeat 3 prior levels to get past the "episode" in place of getting help from 3 friends. They make you get an insane amount of points and then give you a 24 hour "timeout" between each level (48 hours minimum to complete all 3 levels basically unless you use the clock set ahead feature to bypass the 24 hour timeout). I'm convinced they give you levels you didn't do as well on and then it seems like it's a 2+ star score you have to get on top of it.

Bombs have a little counter on them. The counter decreases by 1 for each move you make. If the counter reaches 0 it's game over regardless of how well the other beans are lined up.

I just found chocolate producing machines last night on level 150 something. You can't destroy them so once you destroy the chocolate blocks they create, more appear.

Stink...I did it. Where the heck are all of the FTP hogs? I need to learn to do a proper FTP. Oh well. I will take it. Off to the airport to meet my Italian student.

If you have any exchange students that are soccer players and could kick an American football through a goal post from 30 yards, I think I can find a place for them.

Seriously? Where?

Ummm, no, not seriously. Just frustrated by the lack of a decent kicking game at the local high school. The last time we've had a really good kicker was 2006.

Went to the fair last night and saw the Oak Ridge Boys. Pretty good, but Duane Allen's voice is starting to give out on him. Might be time for retirement.

So, is everybody out caching today? I'm stuck at home with a brisket in the smoker.

Don't forget to vote for West Bend as the best small town for geocaching. Contest ends Sept. 3 and West Bend is currently in second place by less than 150 votes. Vote once per day at http://www.bestoftheroad.com/?op=7&s=&vt=&p=1#contest

Six years ago today "sandlanders" became an official geocaching name with the creation of GC account #1256465. Of course, it was another 6-7 weeks before we even went looking for our first cache (had some lurking to do first). Wink

Jim, many high schools do not care about kicking. A lot of them just go for the 2 point conversion every time following a TD.

Going for it on 4th down when in FG range is common, even if it is 4th and 10.

While the bigger schools have the resources for a kicker and a special teams coach, smaller schools do not have a special teams coach, so hence, no kicking other than the kickoffs.

Touche!

Considering you (and others) are training for a 1/2 marathon.

I'm just training for a 5K and then discover this little gem of a race.

CRAZY - But I'm tempted to give it a whirl next year, and thinking St Joe's Food Pantry 5K Run/Walk (Menasha Trestle Trail) is probably a better option this year.

I shouldn't care, since I quit coaching the team 4 years ago, but it still bothers me. Yes, Auburndale is a small school. Yes, the coaching staff has been slashed by 1/2 since I started coaching in 2001. In my opinion, going for 2 when you are up 40 - 7 is poor sportsmanship. And the problem is not just with extra points. Our first two kickoffs Friday night went to the 25 and 30 yard lines respectively. The next two kickoffs, despite being ahead 13 - 7 and 21-7 were on-side kicks. The first we failed to recover, giving the other team the ball near the 50 yard line. The second we recovered. Again, IMO, kicking onside when you are ahead is poor sportsmanship.
