The pictures are amazing enough, but watch the first two video clips. Yikes! (Kind of cool watching them summit.)

Does riding the cog railroad to the top of Pikes Peak count as summiting a Fourteener? We did that twice. Wink

I'd say so, I've also summitted Pikes Peak twice that way. Wink

Ah September 11th, sometimes those terrorist attacks seem so long ago, sometimes like they were yesterday.

Pretty powerful for me since I was in NYC less than 2 months agoand spent the week 1 block from the WTC center area. I need to update my FB page with all the pictures.

Most moving were when we opened a storage room door and saw all the scratched up benches that the responders in their gear rested on in St Paul's Chapel

My next adventure starts tomorrow. Should have lots of fun in the Hayward area. I just gotta watch out for that cheezemonster they've been seeing.

I bought 50 pounds of tomatoes at the Farmers Market in Mosinee yesterday. Salsa and spaghetti sauce by tomorrow!
