Candy dots on a paper??? Shocked If so, I doubt that they cost two cents anymore. Confused

Why did we love those things? You ate as much paper as you did candy Laughing

They have them, but you're right not 2 cents. Liquid in the wax bottles too. I talked to them about having an event there sometime, maybe next summer. I'll request a tub of mint chip if I do.

Hey now.

My only words were caught while I was off panel. "Highly valuable"

Yes, I noticed that. Too bad the segment wasn't longer, but I understand that it wasn't a geocaching show.

Yea, I was surprised by how little we were in there. It's a shame, the whole reason they even talked about geocaching was because the oldest active cache was in Pike Lake. And then that never even got mentioned. My kids were really disappointed too because they were so excited to be on TV and then they only ended up in the background.

I'll give you my 5 cent critique of the show since we are familiar with almost everything that they featured. We go to Hartford a couple of times a month. They only briefly hit on any of the places they visited. They made the Auto Museum look more like collectors warehouse than a really fun museum to visit. The things they missed mentioning at Pike Lake were camping, hiking and the tower. Even though it's not in Hartford they showed Holy Hill a couple of times, but never mentioned it. That surprised me since many of John McGivern's comedy sketches have focused on growing up catholic. I really didn't expect much more than there was about geocaching. Scoop DeVille was the big winner. Their ice cream is as good as any you will ever have. I had gingerbread a couple of weeks ago. They also have a huge selection of retro candies.

I was surprised that Holy Hill wasn't mentioned either, although it was shown a few times. We did talk about the tower and the great hiking trails in the park and I know that the ranger that they interviewed talked about camping. But alas, those things were cut.
