That commute between Appleton and Oshkosh is a nightmare too! New routines are stressful also, but in a few days, you will get passed it.

Yeah, this deep freeze is getting rather tiring at this point in winter. We must be developing a bit of immunity to it. We went for a nice hike in the bottomlands along the river on the Minnesota side and it was very nice. The biggest issue is all this slick ice or in some cases, thick chunky ice, everywhere off the main roads. Probably about three miles round trip. Hardly any birds.

Lucky for me I get to exit 41 at 45 so I don't have to cross the bridge.

Actually I will likely take 3+ hours when I commute by bike. And yes it is my goal to ride to work a few times when the weather decides to warm up.
