Anyone interested in tackling the Great Northwoods Treasure Hunt over Memorial Day Weekend? I was planning on leaving Racine around 5:00 pm Friday afternoon camping at a campground (maybe Clear Lake) near the center of the group of caches, getting the Northern caches Saturday, getting the Southern caches Sunday and any extras based on time then stop for a few quickies on the way home Monday. Keep in mind that two of these are terrain 5 caches and require a boat so I will be passing on those (unless someone has a boat?). Based on how far apart these are placed and the difficulty of some Saturday will be a full day of caching. Sunday will be cleaning up what is left over and any other neat caches in the area.

I will be going either way unless some sort of family emergency happens between then and now.

If you're interested let me know.

WE should be home most of the weekend... we live between Klondike and T-Docks caches.... zip code 54521.

Some of the Northwoods Treasure hunt ratings are much higher than they actually are. New cachers rated them, although it is true you need a boat for a couple.

PM us if you want our phone number and maybe you could drop in for a beverage while in Eagle River.

Dogs is OK with me. I'll have to review the caches and see if they are dog friendly.
