Of course being in New Jersey... (the Garden State) I have already gotten into the Spring Mode. My Pet Cat Wilyl has been collecting gardening gloves in preparation for Spring Gardening. Here is Willy renamed the "Snatcher". .... ...
His collection of nine pairs and 5 singles gardening gloves. I have informed the neighbors of the theft and they can reclaim the gloves and hopefully not press charges. .. ...
This wasn't too bad ... he usually brings me a dead field mouse as expression of love.... Oh well... Spring is here. ... ...

I don't have a real problem with the weather .. because I am already busy in here.
I have already started potting up hanging containers and others. I just turn up the radio and let the sun turn up the heat to about 90 degrees. Boy, you would sure need one in Wisconsin. OH yes, I built this one... ... Anyone else have a Greenhouse... small ... large ..?

No street sweepers for us yet. We still have snow banks overflowing into the streets. And, I haven't seen the first Robin yet either.
But, The skunks are out, and I saw a raccoon last night too. Both good signs.
It's 54° here by the lake, and the snow is melting quick! |

I saw my first two robins on Monday in Menominee Falls. As for the street sweeper, I haven't seen one of those in almost three years now. At least not in my part of the city. |

Does water in the basement count as a sign of spring? |

Team BenDigiFu...on our trip to Las Vegas last weekend, we felt the signs of spring, with temps about 60-68 during the days and 40's at night. WE forced the point to wear shorts, since it was sooooo much warmer. Until............ We got to Zion N.P in Utah, temps dropped to 32 and snow few in HUGE clumps. Here's a pic of benny7210 with the evidence whipping by.

1) Kids wearing shorts to school today.
2) motorcyles out on the road
3) kids riding their bikes after school
4) while I was jogging on a country road (let me clarify, no sidewalks, only a small shoulder and yes I was running facing traffic, some driver drove through a huge puddle and soaked me.
