I received a flood of emails this morning, new caches Up North.
The Great Northwoods Treasure Hunt people have a good grasp of geocaching now, and I couldn't make the meetings this year, so now I can play the game.
I'm looking forward to some spring exploration. |

Some really great hikes... we put on nearly 5 miles yesterday mostly on snowshoes. We were tickled to have a "play" day today and went out and cleaned up the caches.. except one in Rhinelander that has not been found by anyone... and it is suppose to be a 1.5 by 1.5. We already picked up our t-shirt. They did not ask for help this year but overall did a pretty good job.

OOps Mr TE just let me know that there are 2 in St. Germain that we did not find yet but hope to this weekend with ET.
We did waypoint the Stay and Play cache which was around 20 miles off.
We also found the Depot cache and will log that whenever it is published.
Anyone who snowmobiles might want to get up here to do these as most are on the snowmobile trail.

I just fixed the Stay and Play coordinates based on your log. I wouldn't expect these tourist bureau types to be keeping a close eye on things like this, so I'll give them a bit of help. I'm sure the Minocqua subdivision crowd will appreciate it. |

Well then you can go ahead and fix the flash mob event as well. 20 miles off and same location as the original "Stay and Play" bad coordinates. Event is GC19PFM "Musky Season Opener – Reel ‘im In – Flash Mob". The coordinates I left have to be within a couple hundred feet. |
