If you're looking to explore the Black River Falls area anytime soon, we'd highly recommend any or all of the new caches placed at some of the flowage areas by SnyderBear. Some are quite easy to get to, others may require a good long hike, especially right now, with huge potholes filled with water on the trails, but the amount of wildlife we saw and heard, plus the flowers and scenery, were well worth the effort. The hiking was easy hiking, a contrast to the cardo-workout the mound caches provide.
This is one of them that needed a longer hike in a pretty area, but look for any of the ones nearby with "flowage" in the cache name. Great series, SnyderBear!

These caches have all been added to the recommended cache bookmark list. Probably easiest to drop the list into GSAK and filter by the cache owner. |

Hey ! ! ! No problem folks... we'll be doing an addition to these down the line soon - who says you need to be breathing heavily to see something spectacular... (keep it clean guys)
I'm also thinking of making a small series that are totally 1 terrain, so that their catchable by all, but somehow make them memorable in their own right (had a recent log stating they couldn't get a container open and it got me to thinking)... We'll see. (Would this give "Trekkin" caches well into his 90's if he'd just leave them sit till then? Or would he flame through them in a fit of FTF frenzy... ;o) ...
