Not really looking for someone to cache with, but we'll be camping at Hartman Creek 6/27 thru 6/30. Look us up if you're in the area. We'll be there with OPPS5 in sites 33 and 34. We may move to 4/5 or 6/7 if they're available when we get there. Look for a white Ford Escape, a red Dodge minivan and 3 rambunctious kids (the 3 E's). We'd be disappointed to find out later that there were other cachers in the park while we were there without getting a chance to meet them. We have about 25 caches in the area that we'll be going for so the best time to find us will be at hotdog and s'more time around the evening campfire.

This trip will include mostly easy ones so we can keep the kids going longer. We should have 40-50 of the caches in the Waupaca area done after this camping trip (we found 20 last September). We are going to go home through Wild Rose on Monday and may pick up a couple there. We have a coupon for a free lunch at Pioneer Pub so we're going to check that out. Our next trip to Hartman Creek will probably include a day down in Wild Rose. We owned property on Big Hills Lake when I was a teenager so this is an area I'd like to do a little reminiscing in. Any suggestions for a couple of quick finds right in WR while we're there on Monday would be appreciated. I know "Wild Pride" should be walking distance from the Pub.

Wild Pride may not be a short walk but you could walk there.
If you are interested there is a Benchmark just behind the Larsen Co-op you could log. along the road and the rear driveway)
WSQ Oak Hill- S&G
WSQ Mount Pleasant -little search with easy math
WSQ Wild Rose Union - tricky math once you find the info source, depends on where you start looking.
Dopp Memorial Park - small park on the river
Follow the yellow chip road- short to moderate hike depending where you start.

Wautoma Rotary "Giz"ebo - quick one if you go through Wautoma

Simon sAys: GeocAchers Search aroUnd should be a quick find if you solve the puzzle before you head out.

the "Walk on the Wild Side" series / Ryan's Rebus Final may need to wait for the next trip if you are time limited (and the mosquitoes may be pretty bad too. :>-- )

enjoy Very Happy

I seem to avoid these each time I am in the area... they scare me for some reason Smile

We haven't lost anyone yet, though Mr Bandit and a couple others have found the Quicksand/Spring Shocked Laughing Shocked
