The rules for last year were the same for everybody, and some people simply outperformed. Rather than being a problem that needs to be addressed, I view that as a model that the rest of us should consider as a road to success.

Well, today is the last day of the year and I know a few players are anxiously awaiting the first list of 09. Many of us are still curious about the new rules, if any, and might like to see them before we head out the door tomorrow.... |

Such a smart^$*^*)! Don't get me started on the logo... but do give Deejay the benefit of the doubt - he's been busy working on new puzzle caches
I do hope we see the rule changes today. Not that I intend to play very hard this year or anything. |

Well then apparently all is A-Ok. I think it would be interesting if bonus points could be offered at the game admin's discretion for caches or rescues that were unfound or unaddressed for longer than 3 years. There aren't that many of them but there are a few. |

A little aside on the Cache Replacement: I've had a WP replaced in the past without any contact with me to determine if it was missing or not. I went in and checked when the weather broke only to find the WP safely disguised a foot away and a nano tucked nearby. Highly reputable players either couldn't find the WP or they were eager for the points. Today, I still am holding the nano they donated. Thanks guys!
As an occasional player in the LCG, I feel good about the rules and enjoy trying to earn points. Rescues and the such are becoming a bigger focus for me as the Appleton area group of caches dwindles and I am looking for new thrills. There are times that owners never respond due to quitting the game or indifference and without owner consent for replacement, that seems like it just "tough nooies" about replacing and getting the points. I know there are several local valley caches that have had neighborly maintenance on them as the Team has quit the game and it's the only way to keep the cache alive by replacing without owner permission. When I do so, I log that replacement was done after repeated attempts to contact the CO was unresponded to.
Keep up the great game! I've looked into the Indiana LCG for my visits back home and found nothing, so thanks for all you do to make this fun. |

Just a quick comment on the Indiana game. Indiana does not have a active statewide organization. This puts them at a big disadvantage when trying to coordinate statewide programs. |
