What about:
1) parachuting in,
2) hang gliding in, or
3) tunneling in?
That's all I got for you. |

We have our secret route planned, and no one will notice us until we suddenly appear out of nowhere. |

As far as I can tell, there is no other way to get there. |
That's what I tell my sister-in-law all the time. "You can't get to Hayward from there! "We can go North, but to go South , one has to go East, or West 1st, and then to go West or East, one has to go North or South 1st. |

So snowshoes or mountain bikes??? That is the question...
We will be prepared whatever the weather... guess we better be ready for 20-75 degrees... ahh the joys of Spring in the north.
Think our foot of snow on the ground is suppose to disappear today... time to trust the weather man again??? Or at least hope he has a clue.

Sounds like a rain jacket might be needed. No snowshoes SHOULD be needed. As for bikes....I dunno yet. I'm going to the park today to plant the caches. I'll check the board again. The caches are all within walking distance of the shelter. Not sure how a bike will help you get up a few of them trees. OPPS!!! Was that a clue????? |

No climbing of trees will be involved. Also, the bike trails are closed till May 2. So all will have to hike to caches. |

Ok, so do we bring meat to grill at noon or just other food to eat? Are the weenies the meal at noon on the grill or over the campfire later? We're headed north tomorrow, loading the car to the rooftop to handle any kind of weather. |

I'm glad I swung through here on my way home from Madison (it was only on the way to other geocachers!). It was a great event! While the weather forecast seemed somewhat ominous, it turned into a great day and the spot offered some phenomenal hikes and finds. Nicely done! I'll have to make sure to get up here for the next event (if my schedule permits!). |

We had a wondeful time meeting so many cachers, hiking the trails and swapping stories.
Met up with Sandlanders after at a cache. Guess it was a way to say good-bye one more time and provide a little cover for crossing the border . Glad to hear that they were able to get across the border safely.
Chris, Thanks for hosting such a great event.

Got home safely but we're going back. Great caching spot! We've uploaded some photos of the event on our "attended" log for the event. And mpamike has the group shot on his log.
Great times, Cheezehead and Gramma Cindy! |
