You Might Be addicted to GEOCACHING if:

You know the zip code of every nearby town by heart.

You actually look forward to visiting the in-laws who live out of town.

Co-workers no longer ask “how was your weekend” instead they ask “how many caches did you find”.

Your boss takes you aside and asks about the smell of DEET when you return from your lunch break.

You have a favorite satellite.

You know where the cache is just by reading the description online.

You’ve collected enough useless junk to start your own dollar store.

You’ve been questioned by the Police after a massive Ziploc shopping run.

You own several ammo cans, but no ammo.

You have to sort through the batteries in your pocket to find change for the phone.

Your friends won’t bring Tupperware to your house, since it will end up out in the woods under a log.

You never throw out anything with a tight fitting lid.

You come home and your mate pulls a thorn out of your forehead.

You buy souvenirs before you leave on a trip so that you’ll have enough swag to put in caches once you get there.

You’ve seen more plants than most botanists but you can’t name a single one.

Your idea of a great date is claiming a FTF!

You start receiving gifts of ammo cans and rechargeable batteries and you are thrilled.

Your honeymoon consists of 7 days, 3 hotels, and over 200 caches.

Your car gets stolen and you feel lucky because your GPS wasn’t in it at the time.

You’ve wondered if there are caches in heaven.

You’ve purchased a grocery item not based on need or price, but the container it came in.

You can find a path to the cache more quickly than you can find your way back to the car.

An Easter Egg hunt at your house involves teaching the kids to download waypoints.

Your dog gets excited when you grab your GPSr.

You named your youngest child “Micro”.

Their first word is “Geocache”.

You have to spell the word geocache in front of the dog.

Instead of my mate pulling thorns out of my forehead it's usually ticks off of places I can't reach, like my back.

I would also add:
If your 3 year old walks around the house with an old printed cache page saying "Where is it?" as he looks under various pieces of furniture.

You know the location of every unfastened lamp post skirt within a five mile radius!!

You have an arrangement with the guy at the Photomat who saves all of his film cannisters for you!!

You wrap all of your family's Christmas gifts in cammo tape!!

You notice, for the first time, a cemetery you've driven by for the past 10 years.

If your neighbors just shake their heads when the local Police stop at your door to return the ammo boxes "found" in one of the local parks .. does not matter that is is not your cache .. they just happen to know who you are and want to give them back (okay, I am up to twice on that one now).

You return from your lunch hour .. tracking mud across the building, with mud on your pants, and a big smile on your face because you got an FTF.

... at 1:42pm (or later..) because you had to stop for just one more cache before getting back to work.

You see nothing strange about buying every matchstick holder at Fleet Farm.

You don't mind paying higher taxes if the money is going to NASA so they can launch another satellite.

I am guilty of the Easter Egg thing. It was soon after that my children let me know that they knew the Easter Bunny was not real.
