Would the WGA BOD consider having a section in the forums called "places to eat". The purpose... allow local geocachers tell not so local geocachers about good places to eat. Listings could be by town or region.
My wife and I are traveling to MS for vacation in April. While scouting the MSGA website I notice the forum a section called Mississippi life. Under that was "places to eat". I now have one recommended place to eat in the 4 towns we will be caching in.
How many times have you gone to an event and said "where should we eat"? I know people at the West Bend event were meeting up afterwards at a chain restaurant. Why not point out a good local restaurant to eat at after / during the event. |

sounds like a reasonable idea for the off topic section....let's see what others think, but i think it is fine.

Now I really like that idea!
Can we have a 'great desserts' section as well? |

Interesting idea. Do people envision this as being a separate forum? Something posted in the Off Topic forum? Sticky topics posted in the regional forums (could make it easier to find "reviews" by location)? Something not even in the forums, like a wiki page or pages? |

A sticky posting in each regional forum sounds like a great spot for something like this.
It would make an excellent addition to the site!

Next time you are in town (Waukesha), you have to try Jimmy's Grotto .. their Ponza Rotta's are something you have experience to understand
