The Royal Selzzupian Navy is looking for 3 senior naval officers to participate in a secret operation, code named Doolittle Raid.
1. Vice-Admiral - Executive Officer, Submarine Task Force 14.
2. Rear-Admiral - Commander, Task Force 14.4
3. Rear-Admiral - Commander, Task Force 14.7
Applicants should be familiar with hit and run operations, not necessarily in the submarine service.
Date of the operation has not been picked yet, but will be in the near future. It will be of long duration, due to distances to be covered, and uncertainty as to where the targets might be.
All interested applicants should reply as soon as possible.
Admiral S. A. Markham
Commander-in-Chief

I'd be interested in this but keep me as an alternate as I will be on the opposite end of where I would assume you'd want to begin...(unless by chance I'm up near you for the given weekend...which there is a better than average chance of happening of late due to a new family member in your area).

Tempting but would need disclosure of the date and length of operation before committing. |

This definately has my interest, but like LabRat_WR I'd need some more basics. Worst Case - I'll follow the thread to see how it progresses. |

Even though I have a fear of water (I think there is a picture floating around somewhere to attest to that fact), I would be in for this one if the operation date works in the schedule! |

To quote Admiral Markham from his "Cache Series" OP in the General forum . . .
"What is needed is a numbering system which places the number early in the name. That will take care of both GPS and CacheMate displays."
Does the Admiral have his strategy prepared for handling this concern in the upcoming secret operation? Looks like the opposition didn't get the memo. |

A trip like this is almost worth burning a vacation day for.
I didn't realize these were all down my way until I got them on a map.
I could definitely be involved in a road trip. Dates?????

Now after knowing some more about this - I'm still interested but not available until the week of Thanksgiving. If anyone's interested, I'd consider teaming up to participate in a second or third strike (or relief mission) late in November. |

If the dates work out you can include a Rear Admiral Honeybunny... Lots of other irons in the fire though. It's been a while. |

This mission sure has peaked my curiosity. Do we need to salute the Admiral when he enters the room? All depends on the timing of this mission.
