Join WGA Member co-hosts tdschmidt (Jennifer Schmidt) and kalkranz (Michael Kranz) as they share the highlights from the adventures of the 2020 LCG players! An overview of the LCG game will be presented as well as recognition of the top 10 finishers from 2020. Changes to the 2021 LCG will also be highlighted! Whether you are new to the game, haven’t yet played the game or are a veteran, plan to join in the fun! There might even be a door prize or two!
This will be a Virtual Event planned over Zoom! So join us and lets see each other from across the state and talk Lonely caches. A link for the Zoom call will be posted a few days prior to the event both on the Facebook event as well as here on our website.

We are pleased to announce that the website has been updated with a current list of the top finders of our State Park Series. The previous list had been static since Geocaching HQ retired their original API. For now, this new version will be limited to the top 150 finders and manually updated using information available from Project-GC. We hope to get a full and automated list up and running again in the future. Where do you rank?
This month’s meeting had a full agenda. We’re excited to have set a date for our Spring Picnic event. We also spent some time reviewing the results of our attempt to achieve 501(c)(3) status and the general history of the WGA’s quest for tax-exempt status. And of course, the election committee has been hard at work reaching out to nominated members, and we’re up to seven candidates for the four open positions! Do you know who you’re voting for yet?
The 2021 WGA BOD Election is on its way. Nominations are open and available for submission until January 30th. You should be able to find the “Elections” tab in the menu up above. There are 4 BOD positions up for election. Please consider nominating someone you think would be a great fit.
