New Adventure Lab Series that follows the Yellowstone Trail in Wisconsin.
As of 5:00pm today, the Wisconsin Geocaching Association has released an Adventure Lab Series that will follow the route of the Yellowstone Trail in Wisconsin. There will be a total of 32 Adventure Labs in the series and most of the series went live today. We have a great team of trail bosses who own each of the Adventure Labs in the series. We have published a website with more details about the Adventure Series. Here is clickable link to the website. – WI YST AS
All of the Yellowstone Trail Adventure Lab Series are non-sequential, so geocachers can do the historic Trail from any direction, without the need to back track. We also tried to select waypoints that would be historic and interesting to visit. The waypoints are meant to highlight the actual route of the Yellowstone Trail. Where possible, we tried to have a bonus cache for each section of the Yellowstone Trail. Not all geocachers like doing Bonus caches, but many do. One advantage of the Bonus caches is that it is a good way to draw attention to the presence of the Adventure Lab Series from geocachers who may not be aware of the new Adventure Lab Series.
There will be a Facebook group to keep geocachers informed of what is happening. It will be a great place to share you pictures of waypoints that you enjoyed along the Adventure Lab Series. Our Facebook group will have up to date information, and is open to all. Here is the link to the Facebook group or just search for Yellowstone Trail Adventure Lab series.
We also have a new Pathtag for sale at our events to commemorate the new series.
We hope that you enjoy this new series of Adventure Labs that go all across the state.
