Greetings! You may have already visited the WGA page on how you can help spread the word about the upcoming events, and about the association itself. Many of you placed our WGA information pop-up on your cache pages, and we thankyou. We saw an immediate increase in visitors to the site.

Unfortunatly, on 2/20/02 geocaching.com disabled the use of a feature that was required by these information pop-ups. Note that the disabling of this feature was unrelated to our use of it, but was rather related to a security risk that was discovered.

The pop-ups ceased to function at that time. We have been working since then to develop an alternative method for the pop-ups. We are now very pleased to announce that we have succeeded! We would greatly appreciate those that are willing to help spread the word to read our instructions and place this code, or one of our other code segments, on their cache pages.

Please note that the new pop-up will appear after your cache page finishes loading, rather than as it loads, resulting in a slight delay before the pop-up appears.
