I’m very excited. I have my Series off and running; now I just have to wait for some suckers–er, uhh… GEOCACHERS to come play with them! They took some real thinking to place well, and some redesign at certain stages, and I’m quite proud of the outcome.
They’re called “Lessons in Modern Cartography,” and they’re inspired by what I do when I’m not caching.
Lesson #1: Survey. Mystery cache
Lesson #2: Remote Imagery. Webcam cache
Lesson #3: Develop Your Pictures. Letterbox hybrid cache
Lesson #4: Compile Your Data. Traditional cache
Lesson #5: Cleanup. Virtual cache
Lesson #6: Final Product. Multi-cache
Delivering the Final Product/First Finder’s Prize–must be claimed at an event cache. (it’s a nice prize, and it’s too big to put in an ammo can.) I’ll try to come up with a prize for teams other than just the first team, too.
Until that first finder’s prize is claimed, Lesson #6 will only be available to those who complete the first five caches.
Oooh im looking forward to giving out the prize…
