While many teams seem to chase the milestones, there are many different types of geocachers out there.
One of the new teams seems to only chase the tougher Multi’s.
The Cached-22s (whom I have never met) have a pretty good resume for only having 9 finds:You Are What You Eat
Beyond Paradise
Training Camp
Mr. Elvers Cache
Stairway to Heaven
Salute to Stute
Storrs Story
The Mounds
Mystery of the Trolls TreasureLet help them out with a few suggestions of ones they should add to there list!
11/09/2003 at 3:09 am #1736080That’s surely a different way to go at it… One of my first and most memorable is Dave’s “Cheesehead Trivia”. Learned a lot on that ride.
11/09/2003 at 1:52 pm #1736081Our greatest stumper, You Can’t be Serious took us five tries to complete. Who Wants to Play Clue? is an all day puzzler that has some tough to find WP’s as well.

11/09/2003 at 3:23 pm #1736082If you want to talk about TRULY tough geocaches — the kind tough enough to keep some geocachers away — you’re talking about long hikes and/or rugged hills. My list for Wisconsin’s toughest geocaches would include: River Cache by JTJ, Andrae Outback and Europe Bay by Yawningdog, Devils Lake Outback Cache by Hotdogs Off Trail, Salute to Stute by GrouseTales, Hixon Forest Cache by Team ZDShadow, Goosey Venus by beggymike14, and Yellowstone Lake State Park by CacheCats. I’ll throw in two of my own: Devil’s Lake Revisited and Pike Powder Hike.

11/28/2003 at 12:40 pm #1736084Wow, I was just browsing through the message board when I stumbled upon this one! Imagine my surprise!
Although it’s true that we have done mostly only the hard ones, we really haven’t set out after them JUST because they seemed hard. Since there are three of us, and we are all pretty busy, we only get a chance to go caching about once a week. This being the case, we like to make every trip count! So, we go after the ones that seem most interesting to us in some way. Those tend to be the more difficult multi’s. There are so many great caches in the Southern Wisconsin area, though, that it is sometimes tough to pick which ones to do. We certainly appreciate suggestions.
The only draw back to doing only the multi’s is that we may miss out on a lot of caches that are great for reasons other than being difficult (for example, they may be in a great location, or teach a history lesson, etc.) So, maybe we’ll change our approach eventually. Thanks!!
