I am extremely sad to announce the death of a fellow cacher and daughter of a friend of the geocaching community in general. This morning at 0700, November 29, 2003, after a month in ICU following an emergency valve replacement surgery, Patricia Handley, aka packingpk, daughter of Ray and Helen Handley, aka Trudy & the Beast, sister of priebie’spride and cachingz’s, passed away.
Funeral to take place this coming Wednesday and will be announced in the Monday and Tuesday editions of the JournalSentinel.
In leu of a gift of flowers the family requests a donation be made to The American Heart Association in thier daughters name.

I am very sorry to hear of the loss and my heart and thoughts are with the family.
I know when Ray and Helen were down for the Milestone Gathering they were anxious to return and be with their daughter who was in the hospital. I had no idea how serious an issue it was.
I am sure everyone who has ever been around the family is feeling a loss at the sad news.
