On February 12th (Thursday) at 7:00pm I will be talking to the Rock Trail Coalition about Geocaching at their monthly meeting. It will be held at the Rock County Job Center and anyone who would like to come along and offer their input or support is welcome.
I feel this group which develops trails and sponsors many outdoor hikes and activities is a natural to become involved in our sport. It would not surprise me to see geocaching in Rock County expand greatly in this new year. The Janesville Parks Department has already expressed an interest in having a geocaching intro class as part of their programming this Spring or Summer.
