The results are just in…
First of all, a big thanks to the 6 WGA members who were nominated and agreed to run for the Board. A total of 199 votes were cast by 55 WGA members during the election. Thanks to everyone who voted!

Now, about the ritual ice water dunking initiation ceremony…
We have mixed emotions since four very fine candidates were elected and two were not. We have no doubts that all of the candidates are wonderfully qualified. Congratulations to the election winners and regrets to the two winners who will be allowed more time on the trails.
We would like to congratulate our new and returning board members. With our ever increasing numbers, we know the future of our sport will present many new challenges. We feel confident you will meet these with the same enthusiasm you have shown in other geo-activities. A sincere thank you for your time and commitment and best wishes in the coming years.

I’d like to tip my hat and say congratulations to those that made it onto the WGA Board. I know that each one of you will do a fantastic job promoting the sport that we all love so much. Good luck and we’ll see you on the trails – or breakfast which ever comes first!
