Here it comes folks….
Their next cache will be 1000.
When will the shoe drop?
Are they holding out on us?
Have they selected a really special cache?
Who will be the first to spot it?The anticipation has the beast wide-eyed and awake.
We hope to try out Mr Elver’s Cache in Madison this week for the 1000th. It has been around as long as we have been caching but we have never got around to doing it. It looks like a tough one but after tackling the Bird on a Wire series yesterday I think we are ready for anything. I even had to finish the St Louis cache in a rain storm so we would end the day at 999. It may take a couple of evenings to finish Elver’s because I don’t think we will be able to wait for Saturday.
Well we all certainly wish you well.. Too bad we can’t all gather around to cheer you on.

Let us know if you would like some on-lookers…Mr. Elvers is one of our favorites! Great choice for any milestone! A creative and well-done multi…we did it in snowy freezing conditions…and we still loved it…
Ms. WISearcherI agree – excellent choice for number 1000. This one is a classic that everyone should do long before 1000.
