This is strange timing … Last Sunday I told a couple at our church about geocaching, they are very interested and what to join us something (would be a good edition, husband would be my second sheriff’s deputy to join us). Anyway, I just got word that 2 days ago the wife and another friend from church, went to walk their dogs Kohler-Andrae State Park (Sheboygan), they’re walking off trail and the other friend says, hey whats that box over there. The first friend says, Ron just told me about geocaches on Sunday, I bet that’s one. Sure enough, they found their first cache accidentially and only learn what it was from me several days earlier. Have not talked to her myself yet, she must have found GC1A0F or GC1A11. I hope it was the first, since I’ve not hunted the 2nd yet and I was going to take them since they want a bit of a challenge … would not be fair to find a 4-star cache by accident.
I’ve found them both and I would be extremely surprised if they found the 4star by accident. I remember the first one and while it was a bit difficult when I hunted it in winter after dark, I can see it being noticed while on a walk, now. Interesting what one will “notice” when one knows what to look for! Glad they can join us!

Ok, it’s a little less amazing than I thought … they were walking the dog down what they thought was a deer trail, they hit a dead end then found the containers … turns out it is farther north and an easier one than I thought: GCHR38 (Sheboygan Magnetic Anomaly One). I see on a log listing that this cache is somewhat out in the open for some reason … I’ve just communicated with the owner, “TS”, he has been laid up a few weeks with an injury, but is better now and will take care of the situation. Take care of yourself, TS!
