Team Badger announces the first ever Geo-brunch! Feb.20th Badger Brunch
The brunch will be on a Sunday, so those who work on Saturdays can now attend. It is also running from 9AM-2PM for those who like to sleep in. This also allows for early morning caching prior to the event, and still allows time afterwards for a few quick finds. I believe the price for the brunch was $7.95. Not sure about kids pricing. The weather is warming, and the snow is melting, wooo-hoooo! Team Badger welcomes everyone to join us for a great time.

    What an awful predicament!

I’ve seen Bob eat, there is no way this could last 5 hours!

This is one predicament that I bet I can help you solve! Sammy’s has a little bar in its restaurant with a TV. I can almost positively assure you that the race will be on their TV.

I believe it was mentioned that there will be temporary caches placed. Will you have a laptop to upload those to our GPSr’s? If so, do you have the cord for the Rino (the smaller plug)?

(I don’t want to get off topic here, but expect a cache page for the campout around the first week of March. The board meets on 2/27 and will be working on the details)

I’ll try to get the co-ords onto a laptop for the event, but don’t hold your breath on that. It’s been a crazy week and doesn’t seem to be slowing until about 11:30 pm Saturday. It’s best to bring your own GPSR cable…just in case.

Now: Hey guys…you did get off track!
this is about the Team Badger Brunch Event.

Thanks John! I was hoping to get an email off to you before you posted a note but…
I’ll call you about it later.

PLEASE NOTE: In the spirit of Team Badger we have decided to only drop a couple of temps for this event! Team Badger is not about the numbers, it’s about the TEAM! While we will have a laptop available for loading area caches, we suggest that you lock and load from home (or at the very least bring your GPSR cable w/ you. We’ll have e-tex, magellan, and Garmin 76). See you there…Major Brat

I can bring my cord for the Rino and let you use it for the day there in case other Rino-ites need to use it. I’ll want to take it with me when I leave for the day, though.

As I posted in my reflecting pond cache log: Caching,to me, is about fun, excitement, learning, team building, friendship, adventure, and health. Though I’m not sure how Biscuits and gravy fall into healthy , I’m looking forward to meeting everyone. Being relatively new to caching (almost 6 months) I really haven’t had an opportunity to meet many cachers.
    See you Sunday!

Great event (Bob)& Team Badger…awesome company and awesome food (loved the mini cream puffs). Was fun to see everyone again and to give out hugs. We enjoyed the temp. caches as well as the “local” ones. The weather did not dampen anyone’s spirits. I remember seeing The Beast making a snow angel after Bushwhacking Queen had lost her keys in the snow caused by Professor hitting her with a snowball and she slipped on the ice trying to avoid being hit. Thanks for the memories. Tami

Excellent event today! As always, the company made it great! Good food didn’t hurt either – YUM!

Too bad the weather didn’t cooperate a bit better. (Sleet hurts!) I was also sad to see some others couldn’t make it due to illness. I hope those of you that were feeling crummy get better soon!!

~Mama Fishcacher, going to find the next event nearby on gc.com….
