The ONLINE version of the geocaching newspaper article (based on 4/30/05 Stonehaven event and coverage on our families) is now available!

Below is a link, which I will also update when the paper version comes out …. http://my.core.com/~energysaver/NewsMay05.htm

(Seems like a good article, a few minor/normal mis-quotes, but they are specific to our family’s involvement and not geocaching as a whole.)

Quoted in the article were newcomers Stacey and Geoff Thieme of Cudahy.

There are technology geeks and retirees and hunters.

    I am not a retiree…
    I am not a hunter….
    That must mean … I’m … a … geek.
    Why didn’t someone tell me!

    Jeff:
Anyone that can legitmize layering colored pieces of chocolate in a bowl as a “salad” … is a geek … a fun and nice geek, but still a geek.

P.S. – The M&M Seasoning shaker was a nice touch too. Is that just powder sugar?

Ok … I got the actual paper article online now … which has 3 photos! The main photo, on the beach, is of: CB&MB and Team Ridge Runners.

Sorry the article is a bit choppy … hard to take full newspaper pages and scan on an 8.5 x 11 scanner … but I tried to make up for it by posting the images individually and the article text too.
