Please note that another cacher has a cache called “Lakeside TB Hotel (GCHN4Z) in Lion’s Den park, near Grafton, WI.
This park is closed to the public this year for the Gun Deer Season, of 11/19 thru 11/27.
I also have 2 caches in the park … which I’ve temporarily disabled … but I of course can’t do so with the other cacher’s cache and he doesn’t seem to be actively responding to his caches.
11/18/2005 at 8:07 pm #1738446I am hoping one of our approvers can temporarily disable this cache during the hunting season.

…he doesn’t seem to be actively responding to his caches.I don’t think this is necessarily true. He may not have done any logging of caches recently, but by looking at his profile you can tell it’s only been 3 weeks since his last visit to Groundspeak.
Also, the last ones he logged were around Madison. It’s possible that he’s in school there and is simply not able to do as much as he’d like, or as he had previously. Give him the benefit of the doubt.
You posted a note on his cache page. Others will see it and know what they need to about the cache. I’m sure he appreciates what you’ve done.

His caches have been lacking care in the past (I’ve had a friend replace his container 3 times now), plus he hasn’t responded to emails ever. But he might check in on occassion … and have difficulty getting to caches, if he’s no longer based locally. I suspect it’s more of a matter that he doesn’t check the email account where messages go to him.At either rate, it’s under control now, thanks to the approvers … I will remind them to reactivate when I take care of mine.
Thanks for keeping me in line … some one has to.

11/20/2005 at 12:22 am #1738450Hey Robin … do you think our politness is making anyone sick yet? I must add that not only are still more right than me, but I think your spelling is “eggcellent” and you make good use of “punucutation”. Does anyone notice that I use quote “marks” too much?

11/20/2005 at 12:24 am #1738452Ok … why did that go through twice … I didn’t do it, really!
11/20/2005 at 7:42 am #1738453Hey Ron, do you think anyone pays attention to us anyhow?
*Note to self…Self, remember that it’s okay to pretend to spell words incorrectly once in a while. It’s also okay to misuse “punucutation” (I think).
Oops…this sounds like a conversation for personal addresses. Perhaps we should use private e-mails for these types of things in the future. Naaaaaahhhhh! LOL! (How was that?!)
