I want to thank all of the nominees for running for the board. All of you were excellent candidates and it was hard to limit our votes to 4.

    Congratulations to the new BOD’s!

Definitely a close race! Everyone nominated deserved a spot on the board. Thanks to those who voted for me. I’m trully honored to have this opportunity.

Would now be a good time to talk about the initiation ceremony? Would it be appropriate to mention the rubber chickens and the ping-pong paddles?

Just out of curiousity — how many active WGA members voted in this election?

100 active members cast 347 votes in the election.

Congratulations to the new Board members. It was definitely a close race, and I think all of the candidates were in the “final four” at one time or another. Watching it unfold had me on the edge of my seat… there was more drama and more plot twists than your typical soap opera.

Thanks to all who voted for me. It sure was a tight election. Now…do any of the new candidates have an odd job they need me to do the day of your first meeting???

Couldn’t get my 12 hr shift back from the person who graciously took it for me. I work cheap! Really really I do!! ROFLMBO

Edited for One dumb typo…darn it!

Congratulations to all nominees! You all put together a great “campaign”; sharing your thoughts and your ideas. For those that were not elected, thank you for your willingness to serve. Your ideas have certainly sparked some discussions that will ultimately benefit the WGA. To the winners, I look forward to serving with you!

The future looks bright for the WGA!

Open minds will accomplish great things. I see a lot of great things to come. Well Done!

Thanks to all that voted…Again, this shows a true concern for geocaching in Wisconsin…100 voters is up from turnout totals in the past.

Certainly was a close race again.. This was a great group of candidates and a bunch of fine ideas have come as a result.. Now let’s see what we can do!!

    Thanks again!! and Cache On!!!

I also would like to extend a big “Thank You” to all of the candidates and all of the people who voted.

When you are a candidate, you are kind of at the beckoned call to these message boards. It can take a lot of time and thought to respond. It was the morning of the 1st of February, I had planned to spend it packing for the snowmobile trip I was leaving for after lunch that day. And what should appear? Several questions from Mr. Pink. Instead of packing, I spent the morning composing and posting my responses.

Simply being a candidate can be quite time-consuming.

Please… to all who ran but didn’t get elected, please consider running again next year. I saw a bunch of great ideas floating around and we can always use the input. (Mind if I steal some of those good ideas? )
