Seeing I didn’t see any info in Wisconsin’s Geocaching site, about this upcoming event for this weekend, thought I would post this Reminder. (Hope you don’t mind grcarlson)

Jefferson Geocaching Picnic-A Team Badger Event

Geocaching event in Stoppenbach park in Jefferson. Saturday May 20th from 9AM to 2PM. The shelter near the tennis courts is reserved for the event.

This is our first event. This event is free to attend, we will be placing at least 12 temporary caches in the Jefferson area for the event and probably a few more permanent caches as well before the event. I am working on getting prizes for the event and am hoping to be able to give away some geocoins as well. I will be adding more details as the event gets closer. I will have a travel bug exchange also. Geocoin sharing is most welcome. The event is tentatively starting at 9am and ending around 2pm, you can check in anytime during the event for the temporary coordinates, or just come to socialize. Lunch will be on your own, lots of picnic tables are available to bring a cooler, etc. for a picnic lunch or I will have coordinates of nearby places to pick something up to bring back to the park.
April 26 update: I am currently planning on setting up 26 temporary caches for the event, doing the alphabet from A through Z. I am still working on getting prizes for the event, have a couple nice gifts donated so far. I will be giving out a couple unactivated geocoins also, have a few on order and I’ll see what I have by event time before I post what I’ll be giving out. This event will be held rain or shine.
