Today I have my first “Didn’t find” I suspect it’s due to ice. Can someone please tell me what I’m looking for at the start. I flipped rocks and chopped ice for an hour today to no avail. Thanks, Team Kirkwood.
I’m not the best one to give advice on that one because I could not find the first waypoint either. But I heard the coordinates were written on the wall.
Woo Haa! does that bring back memories! I did that on a hot August day, I think, and the water in the tunnel was warm. I wore old sneakers and rode my Yamaha there so I’d dry up a bit riding back home. Sorry for the spoiler…ahh, not really. The water is probably much lower now so some good waterproof boots might do the job.
I’m thinking its just a bit too cold to be playing in the water today.. My thermometer’s reading 12° with a strong wind. Perhaps another day we can get together and work this one out.

I did it on X-mas & it was *%&! cold. But, part of the fun for me is doing what I would never do otherwise. I dove right in. (I always keep extra clothes in the car.)
I would have just gone in, if it weren’t for the fact that the humidity of my breath was making icicles on my mustache. It was very cold. 30 or higher, no problem, but not below 10.
I made the walk with just my calf high snow boots last winter. Sara was not as lucky. Her boots were an inch to short. She ended with the dreaded swamp foot
Found this one yesterday! Ya! I can’t believe I had walked by it as many times as I must have on my first attempt. Finished this off on the way to Farm Junk. Thanks for the help.
