I hope that my not finding this cache the first time out has not discouraged anyone from attempting it. The Troops have posted some very adeqequate hints now and I found the coordinates to be accurate. This island that it is located on has a large bridge to cross over to it with a permanent population of ducks providing entertainment. There are several trails on the island and I believe I came across an artesian well on it too! Its located right off highway 19, south of a Clark gas station. Easy to get to. Well worth the visit.

I just saw the posting of this cache today. I was in a mild shock as we were planning on placing a cache on Tivoli Island. Now we’ll have to go and find this one and decide if there is room for another.

That’s what we get for waiting so long to place one!!

That has happened to me several times. The positive side of that is that I enjoy hunting more than hiding.

We too had thought about placing a cache on Tivoli. I found the park while I was doing some sales work during the 80’s and was intrigued with it then. I didn’t have my Garmin 12 with me at the time, so it went unposted for a while [13-14years]. When The Troops placed this cache, I sent them an e-mail to this effect. The good news is that there is still room to place another cache there. I would suggest that you try to keep it at least 200 feet from the first. I would also make reference to the first cache in the cache page when you post it.
