Got to find this one today. It was really fun. Nice to have a little terrain challenge in town. Be prepared for wet feet on this one. A little balancing act is also necessary (maybe not in really dry times). The cache is well hidden too.
Nice Job lskbt!

We kinda liked the mini krod too.
And we were wondering – what exactly is a krod?

It is my understanding that Krod is a knickname for one or more of the placers brood.
It’s not to be found on dictionary.com.
Could it be a word spelled backward?
Anyway, Wicket and I really enjoyed finding the ‘krod mini-series’, too!

Bec,
Was the balancing issue due to standing in one place too long? Or were you on cross country skis?

Thankfully I kept moving, or I would have fallen. Somehow, you know me all too well….

There are no shortcuts to any place worth going
Ok, another hearty recommendation for this cache! And with the high water and soggy ground all round, it was really interesting!
Fail the balancing act and you were likely to go swimming in some very cold water!

Glad you took our advice and headed over for this one. We knew you’d like it! Also, you’re welcome for the hide. When we found it it was just kind of lying there. We didn’t think it was meant to be that way so we hid it a little better…same place…just better!
I wouldn’t want to be going here today! Way too much water!
