How about a Political Action Forum for topics concerning cache placement permission and such?
That’s not a bad idea at all… Lets have others post their opinions on that kind of a forum under this thread, and we’ll see how much interest there is…
Thanks Steve!
I agree. We might as well open up a place for hunters to comment on the placement of existing caches in the area, too. I’ve recieved some comments on the placement of certain hunts that I’ve put together and would love the opportunity to defend myself in a public forum, rather than getting into a pissing match right on the cache page, as a local hunter tried to get me to do just the other day.
We could use this forum to help each other find the contacts needed to secure permission in public areas, too.
Oops, I was reading the forums from the last to the first and just discovered that Ken already started a thread like this in the General one.
Hmmm…
Would a Soapbox forum fit the bill perhaps for both of these suggestions? Do you think that would work?
It could get dicy in such a forum, a moderator to keep the lid on would be a good idea I think.
“Julio and Gallo” page (for all the winers)
But seriously, I’ve seen too many message boards that are nothing but a bi!chfest.
I avoid them like the plague.
