Hi, just wanted to introduce myself.
I’m in NE Iowa…. a mere 50 miles or so from Prairie du Chien, WI. (Do I qualify for here? Will ya let me in even though those season-long, sand-bagging Hawkeyes just beat your Badgers? EEEEEK!!)
I’ve only found seven caches so far: Four in Illinois, one in Minnesota, one in Wisconsin (Grandad’s Bluff in La Crosse) and –FINALLY– one in Iowa (planted by Wisconsiners Old McDonald’s Farm)
The one planted by Ken and Robin in the Mississippi remains a thorn in my side. 🙂 But, I “gots not boat!” LOL
I may well attempt to attend your camp-out. It seems lately I get near that area fairly often, but am always on my way somewhere.
Glad to meet’cha!!
Lisa
Thanks for introducing yourself, Lisa. I’m a former Iowan myself, although not a Hawkeye fan or a Badger fan (Go Cyclones!). Sure, you’re welcome to participate in any of the WGA activities. We hope to see you at the campout.
BTW, I’m familiar with your beautiful city of Decorah. I used to lead canoe trips on the Upper Iowa River. I hope to canoe there again sometime.
Someone will get to our Uncharted Island cache, eventually.
~Ken
Welcome aboard Lisa.
I was in Iowa 2 weeks ago, for about 15
minutes
I drove to Iowa from Prairie du Chien to get gas, then drove back.

Welcome to the group Lisa. Based on the current campout registration list, there will be several other non-Wisconsinites at the event. (People will be coming in from IL, IA, and MI.)
I would be willing to extend WGA “membership” to anyone who has ever hunted a cache in Wisconsin, irregardless of where they live… the more people we can attract to these events, the better.
