I think this cache is just strange and wrong and that it should be shut down but how does that happen if the person who hid it won’t shut it down.
If you have been there and determined you have to enter private property to get to the cache, and the cache hider will not respond to your email, you should contact geocaching.com and bring it to their attention.

On the reporting page now, in addition to “Found it!” and “Couldn’t find it!” there is now and option for “This cache should be archived” which is probably the best way to get the attention of the admins.
I checked the profile of the guy that hid it. He has 0 finds and 3 hides – strange. Note, his account has been moved to inactive status on geocaching.com

I haven’t been there because from the other posts I feel it would be a waste of my time but perhaps I will Just so I don’t have to see it all the time. I don’t even get why it says it is an event cache.
Hmm… gee… it seems to have come to the notice of geocaching.com and is now archived.
yeah, that one really bugged me.
