Since people are looking for forum postings, I’ll talk about my afternoon of caching in Milwaukee. I’ve seen lots of virtual caches listed around Milwaukee but have not hunted very many. However, today I discovered a great way to do virtuals — by bicycle. It was fun figuring out a route and then winding through city streets and seeing neighborhoods I had never been in before. When I was done I didn’t have to feel guilty that I sat on my butt in my vehicle to find a bunch of “drive up” virtuals. I started in downtown Milwaukee after watching the rowing races on the river and then I hit:
 Bonito vista al mar,
 Go Fly A Kite,
Iron Well, (excellent for cyclists, BTW)
 Historic Viewing,
 Clear to Land,
 and Mariner’s Plaza.
Logs and pictures will be posted at the cache pages after I receive confirmation from the cache owners.

I’ve been tempted to do some on mine. Even have a cache in consideration on a local bike path. The only problem is that anytime I go near my bicycle, my Siberian Husky believes it is time to pull me around the block. If I ever took it out without him along, it would be the dog house for me! The only way I can get out on two wheels without hurting his feelings is exchanging the puppy power for the horsepower.

Sounds like you and/or the dog need counseling!
