I just bought an Ifinder and it worked great for about two weeks then when I loaded up the 16mb mmc card it shuts off anytime it wants to. I changed the batteries. Does not matter if I am outside walking or driving around . It just shuts off.
Was wondering if anybody eles had one and if they ran into this before? Ed “[email protected]”Does it happen if you turn it on and its sitting quietly not moving in anyway, like on a table?
My Lowrance GM100 has an inherent battery compartment problem in that sharp jarrings will shut it down.
Does it shut off if the MMC card is not installed?
Wow I never thought of that but I just took out the mmc card and it works great ! So now I am stumped ! and now I am not sure if I should go to a 64mb mmc card or just take off some of the custom maps I have on the 16mb card .
I will see what happens when I take off some of the maps on my current card. Thanks for the advice . Ed
