It’s happening! Right now we have a hotter crop of newbies than we have had at any other time this past year. In the past 90 days we have had about 150 newbies join us and there have been more than 50 new caches placed in Wisconsin. In the past 90 days, we have seen some of the most creative caches – Mother Goose and her Goslings, Jingle Bell Rock, The puzzles of Washington County and Fewer 1/1 drive-by virtuals. The past 90 days have been Winter, the next 90 days will be Spring.
The next 90 days will bring another 150 newbies and more. We will see more than fifty caches in the Metro-Milwaukee area, another 50 caches in the Fox valley-Door County area, fifty more in the Chippewa Falls-River Falls area and another fifty in the Madison-Janesville area. These new caches will be of greater quality and fresh challenges.
Wisconsin Caching is where it is at, and we are proud to be part of it.

I Just wanted to revisit this to point out that there have been 174 Wisconsin geocachers to post their first find since 3/1/2003 ~ That is ninty days! If anyone wants a list of names, I would happily provide it.
I don’t keep track of new caches placed, but I would bet that I am not too far from the marks I had predicted in March.
I am not pointing this out to say I told you so. I point this out so that you might share in the excitement knowing that Wisconsin Geocaching is one of the nation’s fastest growing recreational activities.
