Do we have any cachers in the north woods that would be interested in a breakfast gathering in August? I have Sunday, August 17th in mind, somewhere in Minocqua area.
I know there are a bunch of cachers in that neck of the woods, but don’t see too many visiting these forums.
If your interested, let me know.

tb07/25/2003 at 7:03 pm #1745744We are actually heading up there this weekend…and will be on vacation up nort’ during that time. We will be coming back from way Northwest, but maybe we would be in the area on our way back home. We will be caching some up there this weekend…to bad there aren’t more. We are going to buy a few amo cans and potentially place a few (my old stomping grounds) in some great areas. There are so many untapped places up there for caches! Keep us posted!

Picture this…
Mid October!!
How ’bout a meeting deep in the Nicolet… Just pull up a stump, wait for your eggs to be done on the campfire… A few fresh grouse in the gamebag… Ahhhh….
All dogs welcome!!
07/26/2003 at 12:33 am #1745746Ahh, October……my favorite month of the year. Fall colors, smell of wet leaves in the morning as your walking the fire lanes, new flight of woodcock, a bird in the hand…SNAP out of it GrouseTales!, it’s still July 🙁
07/27/2003 at 12:25 am #1745747I’m just counting the days til after our Devil’s Lake Picnic so I can get on back up in our woods.. so I’m sure I’ll be up there.. somewhere (grins).. Sept/Oct.. perfect times to be up in the woods. I’m actually hoping to spur on Eau Claire again for another social gather..

07/27/2003 at 1:46 pm #1745748What no musky/walleye fishing?
07/27/2003 at 2:01 pm #1745749What better to go with grouse breasts than a couple of nice sized walleye fillets??
This is beginning to sound like the beginnings of a WGA wild game feast!
Yum!!
Let’s throw a few pheasant roll-ups in there too!!

Would we have to help hunt and fish, or could we just come up for the feast afterwards?
08/13/2003 at 9:58 pm #1745751Mid October sounds great. Can we make this a reality?
08/14/2003 at 1:27 pm #1745752October sounds good to me also.
10/4, 10/5, or 10/11 are dates that work for me.
There haven’t been any responses from “locals” regarding breakfast on the 17th, so I decided to try again at a later date.

08/15/2003 at 3:13 am #1745755Sounds like a beautiful time of year to meet up North. Those dates are open for the Hotdogs. Let’s keep the plans rolling.
08/16/2003 at 8:13 pm #1745756I’m sure I’ll go this one.
