How many cachers in Wisconsin have hit the 100 mark in another state? I know that Lil Otter has hit it in Florida and perhaps other states as well but are there any others?

Over the past year, I have found a few. I don’t believe the numbers will be very large. There can’t be more than 60. I think our 400th may have been in South Carolina, no that was State of Mind -South Carolina.

My 200th was in another country, and if things go as planned, my 300th will be this weekend in Illinois.

        See…

Wherever you go, there you are.

What’s wrong with caching in Wisconsin Dave?

Actually I was thinking of 100 caches in another state not milestones but that part is interesting too. I know that I hit the 200 milestone in Illinois at Triple Tree but also expect to hit 100 caches in Illinois at some point in the next 3 or 4 months.

          Oh!
That number would be even smaller. Say about 1: M0E.

Ah, well in that case, I just hit that recently, as I now have 106 finds in Illinois.

It’s not that I don’t like caching in Wisconsin, it’s just that I work in Illinois, and on Mondays and Wednesdays I have a class that doesn’t start until 7:00. Instead of going home and coming back, I just get some quality caching time in. With the time between work and class, I’ve been averaging around 6 per week all semester.

Unfortunately, now that the sun is setting before 5:00 and all the parks close at sunset, I’m a little more limited. What hurts is I have most of Lake County cleared out, so what little daylight I have left after work I spend driving farther and farther away to find caches. The other day I ended up in Cook County.

Living in Kenosha as well, there’s not too many Wisconsin caches to my east and south, so when I am at home, it’s more difficult to find time to drive the distances to hit caches to the north and west.

            Make that 2.
