One of the things that I find fun about geocaching is the stats. Trudy & the Beast were the Stats Master until the task became overwhelming as Wisconsin Geocaching got bigger and bigger.
Now the programmers have led the way and provide us with stats that rival Dan Millers page. Great job by House of Brew.
I looked at them tonight and see that I rank as follows in each catagory:
Total – 7th
Traditional – 5th
Rate per day – 6th
Travel bugs found – 8th
Multi’s – 9th
Virtuals – 12th
Mystery – 23rd
Geocoins – 24th
Locationless – 39th
Event – 44th
Webcam – 48th
Letterbox – tied for lastI think each persons own stats reflect a story on what they like to do in geocaching and what is available to them in the geographic region they live in.
I for one am thrilled by the House of Brew website. Thanks for taking the time for all of us!
03/05/2004 at 3:30 am #1746446Thanks! I love giving back to the sport that has given our family so much. We’ve become less couch and TV and more outdoors and family because of caching. I hope to bring more fun stats to the community in the upcoming months.
03/05/2004 at 7:06 am #1746447I think it’s interesting to see what other cachers are doing, and agree that Brew has done an awesome job with the site.
I have 5 months before my first geocaching anniversary and the stats say-
Top 20’s-
Total finds- 19th
Traditional- 15th
Multi Caches-17th
Rate per Day- 4thGeez I can’t wait for this semester to end!

With our new found time we will be going to DisneyWorld in July to bag the 12 caches within their gates.
tb03/05/2004 at 3:11 pm #1746449I’m headed to Disney World on Monday. I hope to up my feeble found count while wearing Mickey Mouse ears. I understand they improve reception.

Dear Trudy & the Beast,
(and anyone else heading to Disneyworld) check out the site tourguidemike.com for some really great tips and tricks on making the most of your Disney experience. There are some interesting caches within the property and many nearby. We were there last December and spent a few hours with the GPS among the other things… balance you know…
