      one of the best parts of hiding a cache is seeing the race to be the first finder, and so often its been uncle fun. but the past few caches i have hidden uncle fun is nowhere around. hmmmm…this leads me to belive that either uncle fun is under a different code name or he broke his leg from doing the first finder dance too many times??

        Uncle Fun can reply but I have a few theories ..

        1) He was away at Boy Scout camp when a few came up so he could not be first finder.

        2) He is sharing the first finder thing with others for a few here?

          He’s still doing is thing same name same illness for trying to get first finder………..
          He was just first finder for the 2004 Magellan GPS adventure. I think most of his time was spent on getting the grand prize.

          I guess he has to spend some time with the family now…

            Yeah, he needs to spend time with his family! Without their help, he would have been doing the pee pee dance while someone else danced the hootie hoo last weekend!

              Never fear, Uncle_Fun is in the house. At least not out caching much. My oldest son started football again recently so nights and weekends are spent with that. Then last Friday/Saturday I spent some time with the Magellan contest.

              I have also been doing a lot of camping over the weekends and working during the week. Making my spare time short. I usually tried to squeeze in a FTF either before or after work. But now sunrise is later so…

              I do however, have all of the kingsofcache caches printed out and entered into my gps. They will likely be some of the next local ones that I do. I was bummed to see that london bridge was archieved so quickly.

              I am going to be out of town over Labor Day, just south of Minneapolis.

              I do appreciate your concern regarding my wereabouts. Thanks.
