Just sitting here, wishfully looking at all the caches I could be doing but can’t because I did something to my back and I’m waiting for it to heal…. But I realize there are 147 caches within 30 miles of my home!!!! Wow!
So how many caches are within 30 miles of your home?

08/29/2004 at 4:11 pm #1747542Looks like 187 for me — why is my find count so low then?

226 caches within 30 miles
42 I have not found
17 are “temporarily disabled”
1 is mineClosest cache not found is “Enigma”, which I will never find unless someone holds my hand.
08/30/2004 at 4:59 am #1747550Here are our totals for 30 miles:
There are 320 caches in that area,
5 of them are ours,
210 of the 320 we have found (17 are currently disabled),
115 are still listed as unfound by us (4 of these are disabled.)We didn’t realize how many caches are this close now!

So you’re not a cryptographer, eh?
08/30/2004 at 11:27 am #1747552there are 390 caches within 30 miles of our home and we need to visit 128 of them. Right now we are pushing the 15 mile marker and still have 24 of 210 left.
08/30/2004 at 10:07 pm #1747553Rough count puts me at 127 caches within 30 miles (Not counting disabled caches).
30 are not done yet (I spent 15 hours so far working on one cache and am not even at the half way point!)
2 we own
1 is an eventGot some work to do, but hopefully I’ll finish this beast of a cache I’m working on and get back to those other caches around the area. It sure would be nice to see and cache something different.
08/31/2004 at 1:41 am #1747554AstroD-Team, what have you tackled that’s taken 15 hours and not half-finished? Sounds interesting.

08/31/2004 at 2:28 am #1747555My guess would be Tenners 2N1 cache. I was half done once but gave up. Never got back and lost any notes I may have had. Now Tenner said he made it harder!
