As a volunteer registered user of GSAK, I received notice last week that GSAK is going semi-commercial. The free version will have a nag feature. Beginning with version 4.2 (released a few days ago) the registration is $20 and gets rid of the nag feature permanently. Anyone who had registered voluntarily before the change gets a free upgrade to version 4.2. Future major upgrades may or may not come with a price tag. It sounds like Clyde has made this his full-time endeavor based upon an email exchange I had with him.
Note, for those wondering, GSAK is still a value at $20!
