should the difficulty of the puzzle or clue determine size of cache?- jan

    #1748929

    In my opinion ….

    No.
I always try to place the largest container that will logically fit; unless I have a specific (sneaky) reason to go smaller. I feel that most people enjoy a larger container, especially kids. Not everybody feels this way, but I suspect few people are disappointed when a container is large.

Typically I fall in love with a specific area, then I look for a neat spot to hide a cache, then I figure out the story or concept behind it. With a few exceptions, such as a specific theme or concept that started the process. Sometimes I find a spot, but don’t know what I want to do with it. Then later on I think of a cache idea, and decide which of my spots I will use.

I submitted an article of the month, with suggestions on hiding your first cache. I thought it was going to be used, but I’ve not seen it show up in the last two months, so maybe WGA didn’t like it. I’d be happy to email you a copy of it; if interested, let me know.
