(Milwaukee) – 7th graders from Our Redeemer Lutheran School in Wauwatosa are using GPS Technology to navigate historic sites in downtown Milwaukee. The students are broken up into groups of four and some look for sites on the east side of the Milwaukee River while other look on the west. Best Buy gave the school a $2500 technology grant to purchase 10 hand-held GPS devices. School officials say this is a great way to get kids our of the classroom and let them take a hands on approach to social studies.
