This summer, after meeting with Sue Black of the Wisconsin DNR to help them work on a geocaching policy, Sue suggested that I write an article for the Wisconsin Parks and Recreation Association quarterly magazine “Impact”. That article has just been published. You can view jpg images of the two pages at these links: http://www.rocketink.com/WPRAarticlepage1.jpg http://www.rocketink.com/WPRAarticlepage2.jpg
Hopefully, this will take us a step further toward getting policies in place for all parks in Wisconsin. If you haven’t already done so, please make sure you ask permission from state and local park managers before placing any new caches.

We had previously seen the text of the article and were impressed, but now seeing it in print, boy, it looks even better!
Nice job Ken!

I’m very impressed as well.. thank you, Ken and the other WGA’s, for all your hard work in representing us in these important issues.

Wow, the article looks great. I recognize the photo of Doug as being one I gave the DNR at our meeting. I was surprised they used it. Doug got a kick out of it
Very nice work! I’m eager to see what the response will be to this article.
As an aside, who selected the graphics for the article? It looks like we’re targeting lilly pads and wildflowers…

Brian, you may have forgotten but you emailed some photos to me for use in the WPRA article.
Trudy and the Beast, regarding reprints, I don’t have any extra copies, but you may want to contact the WPRA to see if they will send you a copy of the magazine. Their email address: [email protected]
Cheesehead Dave, the layout was done by the WPRA’s vendor, Norman Design, Inc. of Milwaukee.
