Hello again,
A confirmation letter has been sent out to all of those who have registered for the campout cache event, and those who are camping on the group sites.
** If you have registered and did not receive the confirmation email, please let us know. We received a few rejected emails due to old email addresses on the reservation form.
For those camping at the group camp, please pay particular attention to the registration info at the bottom. Campers need to register with the DNR upon arrival to the park. Those camping on the group sites have been given the campsite number, name, and reservation number. You will need to provide this info to the DNR when you arrive at the entrance gate.
How did you get assigned your particular campsite number? The campsite designations were assigned randomly. We have two sites reserved. Each site has a limit of 50 people. We divided the list so there are 50 people per site.
The campsite is basically one big grass field with an imaginary line dividing the two sites. For park registration, we need to have 50 people per site. We can setup anywhere in the designated camping portion. We will try to have the tents placed in a semi-organized manner. In reality, you might not actually be placing your tent on the site you are registered on. If you want to camp next to a buddy that is registered on a different site, this won’t be a problem (provided you get there around the same time)
There are also some wooded tent spaces around the permimeter of our sites. We can place a few tents in the woods. We will have plenty of room for everyone’s tents.
Again, If you have registered and didn’t receive the email yesterday, please let us know.
I look forward to seeing everyone at the campout which is only one week away!
