Hello fellow cachers. I just moved to Round Lake, Illinois from Los Alamos, New Mexico and would like to introduce myself as I start caching in Wisconsin and Illinois. I got started (and hooked on) geocaching last October. Since that time I have enjoyed caching around home, while traveling and where my family lives. My son (eldvarg) and eight-year-old granddaughter (iceskatererica) geocache in Illinois/Wisconsin and another five-year-old granddaughter in Arizona also ‘has the bug.’
I like to see different parts of states and that has lead to a goal of finding caches in all counties of particular states. Prior to moving I was working on New Mexico and Arizona and am now starting on Illinois and Wisconsin. When not traveling, caches that require hiking with higher ‘Terrain Values’ have particular appeal.
I am retired, involved with Boy Scouts and love wilderness canoeing. Geocaching is also high on my ‘enjoyment’ list. My interest in fur trade history led to my nickname.
Hope to meet some of you ‘on the trail’ and look forward to hearing about your special finds in the forum.

Welcome to the area and to the WGA forums. After you’ve been caching up here a while, I would be interested to know how the caches differ in Arizona. I know you are in for some treats caching around this part of the country.
