Hi. I would like to try geocaching and was wondering if anyone in my area (Sheboygan) would be willing to let me tag along on a hunt? I will read the instructional sites posted on here and think I could borrow my sister’s GPS (she has never used it in the 2 years she has had it) It looks like great fun. Look forward to trying it

    Welcome on board!

If no one closer gets in touch in say another week, I will certainly be willing to come over to your area for a day of caching.

    Keep in touch.

Is Kohler close enough for you? I have taken a few friends on caches and would love to help another addiction (err, I mean geocacher). My hidden ‘Dog Walk’ is a easy cache for beginers. Let me know what you think.

Yah John, Kohler would be fine!

Oh! I see, you were asking THE other person!!

Well, I would like to tag along. Maybe I’ll learn something new. Aren’t you supposed to do that everyday?

Yea I think I remember someone once told me somthing like ‘Any day that you don’t learn something is a wasted day.’ I don’t know there has to be somthing for being happy with what you know.

Great! Thank you both for the replies! I would love to try it and I will contact you as soon as I have the GPS and have read the info sites I can’t wait to try this! And Kohler couldnt be better. I am hoping there are some caches stashed in the Parnell Tower area.

There are three around the tower. I took my dad on those one week after he lent (gave) me his old GPSr. The one at the tower is a real killer. I had to decode the clue to find it.

The only freedom we have is decideing what we do with the time we have.

Well that depends on Beebopping. I am busy this comming weekend. But it look like I am open for Labor Day Weekend. If Beebopping wants to use his sisters GPSr or just want to use one of ours(which would be allright with me). We could go out that weekend.

John – that sounds fine with me. Will you do a pcoket query of the caches we would likely attempt, and e-mail it to me?

BTW, where would be a good place to meet down there?

    Thanks

Well Beebopinaround the ball in in your court. What says you to some caching on Labor Day weekend? You get to pick the staring point. I like coffee (shamless plug).
